Leigh and Andrew’s wedding day was a celebration many years in the making. It was the joining of two families that had met over two decades before, when Leigh and Andrew were in a class together as toddlers. Even then, they were drawn to one another, often sitting next to one another. That connection would become much deeper ten years later when Leigh and Andrew ended in the same high school and eventually went on their first date. If there was one common theme in the toasts and comments throughout Leigh and Andrew’s wedding, it was how well they compliment one another.
And that was true of their families too, who, after so many years of knowing one another, could finally celebrate the union that was clearly so destined to happen. It was evident when their mothers tearfully looked on during the ceremony, in how clearly Andrew’s siblings had long ago welcomed Leigh as another sister. The true joy of the bringing together of this amazing couple and their families was the most visible when Leigh and Andrew completed their first dance. It was then, when the dance floor filled with all of their friends and family, that Leigh and Andrew could see all of the people who love them and that couldn’t be happier that they found one another so many years ago.
