For Melissa and Jared, New Year’s Eve will always be special. They will celebrate it like most of us, with kisses at midnight, dreams of the promise of new adventures and new beginnings in the coming year. But for them, there will be an added joy, the passing of another year of wedded bliss. Their New Year’s Eve celebrations will forever remind them of the magical year when 2014 turned into 2015 and they became husband and wife.
We could try to describe the magic that was Melissa and Jared’s New Year’s wedding, but, in truth, words wouldn’t do it justice. The moments are what their day was all about. Melissa being zipped into her gorgeous gown as her mother stood by, beaming with pride. Jared seeing her for the first time that day, braving the bitter cold and wiping away her tears of joy as their friends and family cheered them on, watching from a window a few feet away. Their sweet, emotional ceremony, under what is quite possibly the most beautiful chuppah we have ever seen, that came to an end with the stomping of a glass, a kiss and a surprise confetti blast. As midnight approached and their reception was starting to come to an end, the dance floor flooded with their closest friends and family, and the band built to a fever pitch. As the clock struck midnight Melissa and Jared shared their very first New Year’s kisses as husband and wife.
