I know what you're all thinking - finally, something new to look at on this blog! We know! We apologize, loyal blog readers, for neglecting you for the last few weeks. In fairness, we did think that Nicole & Patrick's D.C. Wedding was so pretty that it just had to linger for a while. (Clearly, you agreed based on the number of comments their post received - they were definitely feeling the love - as were we.) But we do have a lot of posts coming your way soon including some more wedding Planning FAQ posts! While we're working on those, if there is anything specific YOU would like to see us blog about, please let us know. And you're no doubt here looking for some pretty pictures and wedding inspiration, we are delighted to share the news that today we are being featured on not one, but TWO of our favorite wedding blogs, Style Me Pretty AND Wedding Chicks. I have to admit, it was quite a nice happy surprise for us to wake up to today. It totally reminded me those rare times as a kid when a relative I hadn't seen yet came to visit a day or two after Christmas and brought another gift. It was like a little bit of that joy of Christmas morning all over again, but it was totally unexpected. Even more, it was a reminder that just because the day had passed didn't mean the joy of the holiday was over. And with a holiday like Valentine's Day - it's all about love. And I can't think of two better features to serve as a reminder that the holiday of love can linger for an extra day or two. Especially since we had already had so much fun shooting both of these events that getting to share again them with so many more people is totally just the icing on the cake.
And speaking of cake... I'm off to enjoy the slice of delicious Black & White cake Rob got for me at Amy's Bread yesterday. He clearly knows the way to my heart - with baked goods! :) And, while you're finishing off your box of chocolates, why not head over to these blogs and leave some love?
First up, a wedding where no one could possibly deny that this couple is clearly crazy about one another. So much so, they decided to bicycle across the country together shortly after they met and fell in love on the journey. Julia & Avi's Wadsworth Mansion is up on Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book Blog. It was an absolutely stunning traditional Jewish wedding with touches of purple and gray, tandems bicycles and the talents of D.D. Nickel, Margery Gussak Catering, and Fleur De Lys Floral.
