This weekend we had the great pleasure of photographing a wedding for an incredible couple at the Hartford Hilton. The couple elected to have our friend Erica Kates of Ambiance Chic Wedding Designs plan and design their wedding. We always knew that Erica was talented and very good at what she does but I have to say when we stepped into the ballroom at the Hartford Hilton we were completely blown away at how good it looked. To say that it was absolutely amazing would be a huge understatement.
Erica put together a fantastic team of vendors in order to help her achieve this simply magnificent look. The flowers or should I say pieces of floral artwork were created by the uber talented Elisabeth of Blush Floral Designs. The cake which by the way was both beautiful and delicious was created by Ana & Garry Parzych of Ana's Custom Cakes. The incredibly detailed (and eatable) flowers on top of the cake perfectly complimented the floral arrangements throughout the room. The music and room lighting was done by Rob Corr from Correlation Productions. He and his team created a warm red and orange toned room which gently reflected off the chocolate brown table cloths as guests were welcomed in. As the couple was introduced the room changed from the warm tones into cooler blue tone which created just the right atmosphere for their first dance. Their invitations, place cards and table number were done by Adrienne Craig of Admire Design. Last but not least Marianne Liebman (Director of Catering at the Hartford Hilton) and her team did a phenomenal job with the delicious food and service.
The reception was simply beautiful and we highly recommend Erica and the above mentioned vendors. We hope you enjoy these detail photos as much we enjoyed being there to capture them. |
