Central Park: New York, NY: Kellie & David's Engagement Session

After a long day at work, Kellie met her friends at Del Frisco’s in midtown for drinks and to blow off some steam. The bar was crowded, as usual, but David spotted Kellie and went over to introduce himself to the gorgeous woman with the contagious smile. Kellie says that normally when she’s at a bar, she doesn’t really want guys talking to her; she was there to spend time with her friends. But David was handsome and had a British accent, so she made an exception. And I’m sure she’s glad that she did. After that first meeting, Kellie and David went on three dates within a week.

In short, they fell in love pretty quickly. To their friends and family, it was clear that in one another Kellie and David had found something remarkable. So much so that when they went on a trip to across the Atlantic to Europe (to visit his family and sightsee) many of her friends assumed David would propose when they went to Paris. David had other plans, though. Instead, he asked Kellie to be his wife along the Pacific, proposing during a trip to California at Half Moon Bay.

Saying yes to that question was one of the easiest decisions Kellie has ever made. Well, that, and making an exception for David when he introduced himself to her in the bar on that first night they met.
